Equest Pramox is a effective horse dewormer paste.

It acts against immature and adult stages of the main equine gastrointestinal parasites and ectoparasites and is effective against tapeworm (Anoplocephala spp).

-Main parasites:
Large Strongyles: Strongylus vulgaris (adults and L4/L5 arterial stages), Strongylus edentatus (adults and peritoneal stages), Strongylus equinus (adults), Triodontophorus brevicauda (adults), Triodontophorus serratus (adults).
Small Strongyles: Cyathostominae: adults and larval stages, including encysted stages, of the following species: Cyathostomum spp., Cylicocyclus spp., Posteriostomum spp., Cyclic Odontophorus spp., Cylicostephanus spp., Gyalocephalus capitatus, Lumenal undifferentiated larva.

-Other internal parasites:
Oxyuris equi (adults and larval stages L4), Parascaris equorum (adults and larval stages L4), Trichostrongylus axei (adults), Strongyloides westeri (adults), Habronema muscae (adults and larval stages), Habronema majus (adults), Dictyocaulus arnfield (adults and larvae).

-Tapeworms:
Anoplocephala spp. (adults).
Stomach larvae: Gasterophilus intestinalis (2nd and 3rd stage larvae), Gasterophilus nasalis (2nd and 3rd stage larvae).

-Filariae:
Onchocerca cervicalis (microfilaria), Summer Wound: (Cutaneous Habronemosis): cutaneous stages of nematodes of the Spiruridae family (such as Habronema muscae and Habronema majus).

-Ticks:
Amblyomma cajennense, Dermacentor (Anocentor) nitens.

-Administration of the recommended dose of Equest Pramox also suppresses strongyl egg production for 84 days.

Dosage and use

Equest Pramox ( horse dewormer paste) is packaged in a ready-to-use syringe, graduated approximately every 25 kg, and must be calibrated according to the horse’s weight, to provide the recommended dosage of 0.4 mg of moxidectin per kg of body weight and 2.5 mg of praziquantel per kg of body weight.
To use the Equest Pramox syringe, rotate the graduation ring, adjusting it to the horse weight to be treated.

The remaining content must be stored following the instructions on the label.

A single syringe allows the treatment of a 575 kg horse.

Check that there is no food in the mouth, remove the syringe cap, and introduce it orally through the interdental space.

With the tip of the syringe close to the base of the tongue, press the plunger until it reaches the valve.
Remove the syringe and lift the animal’s head to ensure adequate gel ingestion.

Replace the syringe cap.
