Sulphadimidine powder is a veterinary antibiotic of Sulfamethazine sodium used for treatment of various animal & poultry infections including:
-Coccidia treatment in sheep and other livestock.
-poultry salmonella.
-Pneumonia, enteritis & streptococcal mastitis..

Composition:
Each 1 g Sulphadimidine powder 20% contains:
Sulfamethazine sodium 200 mg.
Target species:
Cattle, calves, sheep, lambs, goats, camels, horses, buffaloes, dogs, cats and poultry.
Indication:
Sulphadimidine 20% used for treatment of Pneumonia, enteritis, streptococcal mastitis, hemorrhage septicemia, diphtheria, calves dysentery, salmonellosis, lymphangitis, enterotoxaemia and coccidiosis.
Dosage and administration:
Orally in drinking water.
Camels, horses, buffaloes, cattle and calves:
8 – 10 g Sulphadimidine 20% per 100 kg bodyweight in drinking water for 5 days.
Sheep, lambs, goats, dogs and cats:
0.5 – 1 g per 5 kg bodyweight in drinking water for 5 days.
Poultry:
5 g to be mixed in 4.5 liters of drinking water for 3 days.
-followed by plain water for 2 days and then again 5 g in 4.5 liters of drinking water for another 3 days.
-In severe cases it may be given continuously for 5 days.
Withdrawal period:
Meat: 12 days.
Milk: 7 days.
Special warning:
Do not exceed the recommended dosage or the period of treatment.
Storage:
-Keep Sulphadimidine 20% out of the
-reach and sight of children.
-Store below 30°C.
-Store in a dry place.
-Protect from light.
-Use within 3 months after first opening.
-Use within 24 hours after reconstitution according to directions.
